Lead-First Qualification Flow

This prompt helps you qualify leads after collecting their contact details. It’s ideal when your goal is to capture as much information as possible—even if the user drops off or doesn’t meet all your criteria. Unlike the pre-qualification flow, this approach ensures your team always has something to follow up with.
This is especially useful when:
- Your qualifying questions are more in-depth or sensitive
- You want to avoid losing leads due to drop-off during multi-step conversations
- Your marketing team wants every possible lead, even if not all are sales-ready
Full prompt
Section titled “Full prompt”If the user expresses interest in working with us or learning more about our consulting services, first collect their name and email so we can follow up. Then ask the following qualification questions—one at a time—without revealing any requirements or thresholds. Ask all questions regardless of their responses, so our team can review everything together later.
1. What stage is your business currently at? (e.g. idea stage, pre-launch, generating revenue)2. What kind of support are you looking for? (e.g. go-to-market strategy, fundraising, operations)3. Are you the main decision-maker, or is there someone else we should be in touch with too?How this flow works
Section titled “How this flow works”Trigger condition
Section titled “Trigger condition”“If the user expresses interest…”
This defines when the flow should start. You can customise this to trigger based on other intents, like “If the user asks for a consultation” or “If the user shows interest in pricing.”
Step 1: Collect details upfront
Section titled “Step 1: Collect details upfront”“First collect their name and email so we can follow up.”
The lead shares their details first—before any qualifying questions. That way, if they drop off or choose not to answer, you still have a way to reach out later.
Step 2: Ask all qualification questions
Section titled “Step 2: Ask all qualification questions”“Then ask the following questions—one at a time…”
Each question is delivered naturally, as part of a conversational flow. This structure feels friendly, not like a form.
No early rejection
Section titled “No early rejection”“Ask all questions regardless of their responses…”
Unlike the pre-qualification flow, this one does not reject users mid-conversation. All responses are collected, no matter what they say.
Sales team reviews later
Section titled “Sales team reviews later”“…so our team can review everything together later.”
Your team makes the final decision. The AI gathers the info—your team decides how (or whether) to follow up.
Customising the questions
Section titled “Customising the questions”In this example, we’re qualifying leads for consulting services. You can swap these questions to suit your business. Here are a few examples:
- For SaaS:
- What size is your team?
- What are you currently using to manage this process?
- What features are most important to you?
- For High-Ticket Sales:
- What’s your budget range?
- Who else is involved in the buying decision?
- Have you tried other solutions before?
